A repository of stories, a book or two, some videos, pictures and what have you by a writer who just can't keep her ideas to herself.
One thing to know about me is I'm an urepentant Anglofile. On my first trip to England back in 1980 when I was a college student, I took snapshots of my feet to prove to the folks back home that I really had been "across the pond." On my third trip (in 2012), my husband Karl who likes to take pictures of me taking pictures, took this awesome shot of me on the White Cliffs of Dover.
You can see some of my landscape photography if you click here.
Another thing is I've been a word person and a writer of some kind or another my whole life. I got my feet wet in words as a reader, of course. I remember being so excited the first time I finished reading a book of more than 100 pages that I read it again, practically on the spot.
In 7th grade a poet came to my school and did a workshop. I was so taken with writing poetry, I stumbled out of my room late one evening and declared "I'm going to be a poet!"
So I've written poetry, song lyrics, stories, advertising copy, articles for newspapers and magazines. I've even written a few novels for ages 8 and up. I've not had much luck getting my fiction published in the traditional way, so in recent years I've decided to publish things myself, on my website and in 2013 using the wonders of modern technology, aka CreateSpace and Book Baby. "Mr. Clutterbuck and a Matter of Time" is my first self-published work. I plan to do more, so watch this space!
As for the details, you, as my public, may be clamoring for (or not), I am a Colorado native. I live in the foothills west of Denver with my husband Karl and my (new) dog Lionel. I graduated from Evergreen High School. I have a B.A. in Classics from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minn.
Thanks for visiting my website and I hope you'll tell your friends what a terrific (well, not boring) time you had while you were here.
